So about the weekend plans, I think the earlier start time is much better. If we leave by seven, we'll miss the worst of the traffic on the highway and get to the trailhead with plenty of daylight. I've packed the larger backpack because it has the b
etter hydration bladder. Did you remember to check the weather forecast for the summit? I heard it can be quite windy up there even on a clear day. I'll bring the windbreakers just in case. Also, I was reviewing the map last night and there's that al
ternate route past the second creek crossing that looks more scenic. It adds maybe half a mile but is supposed to have better views of the valley. What's your take on that? We should probably decide which path before we get to the fork. I've got the
permit printed and the parking pass is already on the dashboard. Let me know if you want me to pick up any last-minute snacks. I was thinking some of those nut mixes and maybe a couple more apples. My boots are finally broken in, which is a relief. L
ast time we went out, I had a blister by mile two. Oh, and I charged the power bank for the phone, so we'll have GPS the whole time. Do you have a preference for lunch spot? There's that rocky overlook about three-quarters of the way up that's usuall
y not too crowded.

Regarding the project timeline you asked about, the design phase is wrapping up this Friday. The main deliverables are the wireframes and the initial style guide. I've scheduled a review with the stakeholders for next Tuesday morning. We should have
feedback by Wednesday, which gives us two days to incorporate changes before the development sprint begins. The backend team is ready to start as soon as they have the finalized API specs. I'm checking in with them tomorrow to confirm the data models
. On the content side, we're still waiting for the final copy from the marketing team. They promised it by Thursday, so we'll need to factor in a day for integration and proofreading. The biggest dependency right now is the third-party service integr
ation. Their documentation was updated, so we're good to proceed there. I think we're still on track for the soft launch date. Let me know if you want to sync up before the stakeholder review. I can send over the draft presentation slides later today
. Also, have you had a chance to look at the user testing protocol? We need to finalize the participant criteria soon. The lab is booked for the following week.
