Been thinking about this. When does shingle roof become no roof Shingles are made with asphalt and mesh. Mesh helps with holding asphalt together. Even if tar is completely dry, as long as shingle is in one piece, it is a roofing. Dry does NOT mean i
t can't shed water. Wood shingles are dry, example. That is also why I don't think nano spray is legit. Any coating MUST at least bridge the cracks and thin liquid will not.

Above looks like I know about shingles but it is what I think. Also waiting until shingles crack apart will be too late. But I think above is support for no coats. Acrylic coat makes sense but problem with such coat is that shingle drainage will be b
locked. Supposing those old shingles will not leak, then coating can be used as if on a low slope roof but blocking the drainage may create problems.

Such coatings aren't cheap. So you could pay quite a bit of money to have the coatings but problem may start with the first rain. Nobody can tell. Cracks can start with the coating company walking all over old shingles too. But they don't care about
it. If 5 years, I would not do anything. If 10, then save till year 5 then redo the roof - would be my strategy.

Ella, did you catch that bizarre cloud shape today It was extraordinary! It swirled around like a whimsical dragon just before sunset. The colors shifted from orange to deep purple within moments. Jessie said she saw it too while she was out cycling.
Funny how sometimes the sky crafts art we can all see, no matter where we are. Jake thought it was more like a playful dolphin leaping across the horizon. It’s interesting how clouds give each person a different perspective, don’t you think I lo
ve imagining what others see in these fleeting shapes. It always feels like the universe giving us a show that lasts only for a heartbeat. What did you see in it

Jo, I heard the wind through my window today and it sounded so calming. There was a rustle, almost as if it carried a secret everyone could listen to if they paused long enough. I wonder if the trees have stories to share as they sway to the tune of
the breeze. Rachel noticed the sound too during our lunch break; she said it felt like nature’s gentle embrace, almost like being surrounded by a big comforting hug. It’s the little things, isn’t it Like the smell of a coming rain or the whispe
r of the wind, which remind us nature is everywhere, murmuring in hushed tones.

Earlier, I felt the coolness of the morning against my skin. It was refreshing and invigorating just before the day picked up its pace. The crisp air awakens you, like a gentle reminder that even though night has slipped away, its cool quietness ling
ers for a moment longer. This morning cooling felt like taking that first sip of well-steeped tea—nonchalantly rejuvenating. Sarah mentioned she feels more present in such tranquil times, when the silence of the early hours speaks the loudest.

Sarah and I brewed some tea this afternoon. There’s this ritualistic aspect to brewing. The steam billowed up, fragrant with hints of jasmine, spiraling like a dancer. She called it the “dance of the tea,” a visual spectacle in an otherwise ord
inary moment. The warmth spread from our hands through our entire beings, grounding us in contentment. It’s enchanting how simplicity induces peace, isn’t it These moments and shared conversations enrich an otherwise ordinary day.

Each time I meet someone new, I am filled with wonder. Every individual is like their own book, carrying tales we might never delve into unless opened. The people you meet in a lifetime, even if the encounter is brief, each contribute to the rich tap
estry we call life. Michael has so many tales from his travels, meeting folks from various cultures, each chapter of his experiences taking him on a path toward more understanding. There's intrigue in every acquaintance, don't you find

Life breathes comfort in its quiet pauses. These moments don’t scream for attention but they’re profound. Listening to the pitter-patter of rain, wrapping up in a warm blanket, hearing the soft scratching of a pen gliding over a notebook — thes
e lulls are many places of reflection. It’s these intervals between noise that give clarity, almost like a cleanse, don’t you agree Paying attention to these gifts can turn an ordinary day into something truly beautiful.
