Subject: Planning Our Next Reading List

Good morning everyone,

I hope your day is starting smoothly. As our current book choices are wrapping up, I thought it would be helpful for us to share ideas for our next reading list. Recently, I finished a thoughtful novel called River of Echoes, and the way it explored
family history and memory really stayed with me.

I’m interested to hear which titles you’ve enjoyed lately or any books you’d like the group to consider for our upcoming sessions.

Best regards,
Marcus

Hi Marcus and everyone,

River of Echoes sounds intriguing. I’ve been drawn to contemporary fiction that blends mystery with everyday life. Last week I read The Lantern Street Cafe, which follows a group of neighbors whose lives slowly intersect through a small coffee shop
. The characters felt very real, and it sparked a lot of reflection for me.

I’d also suggest we consider a nonfiction title about creativity or habits so we can mix in some discussion around personal growth.

Looking forward to seeing everyone’s suggestions!

Cheers,
Elena

Good morning all,

Elena, The Lantern Street Cafe sounds like a warm and engaging read. I’ve been exploring translated literature lately. One book I’d recommend is The Silent Courtyard, a quiet but powerful story about a teacher who returns to their hometown and re
connects with old friends. The pacing is gentle, yet the themes are very moving.

I’d also be interested in adding a collection of short stories so members can join discussions even if they miss a week.

Best,
Daniel

Hello everyone,

Daniel, The Silent Courtyard sounds like a wonderful choice for thoughtful discussion. I’ve been reading more essay collections and recently finished a book called Windows of the City, which gathers personal reflections on urban life, nature, and c
ommunity. Each piece is brief but leaves a lasting impression.

I’d love for us to select a mix of genres this time: one novel, one nonfiction title, and perhaps a set of essays or stories, so we can keep our conversations varied and engaging.

Looking forward to finalizing our list together!

Regards,
Sophia
